Carhartt Mural, Belgium

In May of 2008 I was invited to exhibit my artwork at the Carhartt store location in Leuven, Belgium.  Carhartt Europe is an incredibly popular streetwear brand supporting skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, art, and street art.  They have store fronts all over Europe that have all played host to influential art exhibitions.  As part of my show I drew a mural on the main display wall.  The following is a photographic sequence of the evolution of my first mural.......

Riding bikes is a way of life in Belgium, this is DJ Willim (Who runs the Carhartt Shop) and I cruising to the paint store:

The wall had been occupied by an amazing piece done by a French Graffiti team for a couple of years prior to me showing up, so it was time for a change.  I painted the wall white and began to lay down some new visuals:

Being I'm not a complete idiot when comes to business I decided to throw a Carhartt logo stencil into the mix:

Once the stencil work was finished I began the sketching.  When I started sketching I had no clue what I was going for.  Like most of my work it just sort of evolved into this:
